Preparing the Installation Site

NOTICE
The heat produced by power electronic components and modules inside
the Arm is dissipated via the Arm's surface. The heat produced by power
electronic components and modules inside the Control is dissipated through
an internal ventilation system.
• Install the Arm and the Control at a place in an adequately ventilated
place.
• Do not expose the Arm and the Control to direct sunlight.
• Do not repaint, paste up, wrap up the Arm.
• Place the Control at a sufficient distance between the front/back fans
and covering components (40 mm on both sides).
• Make sure that the Control's fans are not covered with dirt.
NOTICE
Install the Arm in a position that allows for ergonomic human-robot interaction.
Preparing the installation site
Required material:
• Detailed technical drawing for baseplate.
Procedure:
• Use the technical drawing for positioning and creating the threads and
fitting holes.
The Arm is equipped with highly sensitive sensor technology and fine-tuned
control algorithms, which require installation on a stable, leveled (≤ 0.1° tilt
angle), non-moving, and non-vibrating platform in an upright position. Max.
forces (i.e., 5-8) must be supported during static and dynamic operation.
