5.1.4 Switching ON/OFF
▶ Insert the plug of the appliance in the power socket.
▶ Press
to switch on the appliance.
The appliance starts operating in the same mode and settings
as when it was turned off.
▶ Press the
button to put the appliance in stand-by.
Note
•
For optimum performance of the appliance, leave a door/
window slightly open (as little as 1 cm) to guarantee proper
ventilation.
•
Keep curtains away from the air inlet or air outlet.
•
Never turn off the appliance by simply pulling the plug.
•
Press the
button in order to put your appliance in stand-
by and wait a few minutes before pulling the plug. In this
manner, the appliance can perform the operating status
checks.

Switch on/off the appliance

If you turn the appliance off and immediately restart it,
allow four minutes for the compressor to restart. There is an
electronic device in the appliance that keeps the
compressor turned off for four minutes for safety.
Auto restart
If the appliance shuts off unexpectedly due to a power outage,
it will restart with the previously set function automatically
when the power resumes. The compressor will restart after four
minutes.
5.1.5 Smart cool select modes
The appliance has three automated air conditioning modes
(Auto, Silent and Sleep mode).
Auto mode

In Auto mode, the appliance automatically controls and
adjusts the cooling performance in accordance to the
desired (selected) temperature and the environmental
conditions.
