Option 1:
Cable gland is used when the cable to the lamp is to lie free above ground with
access from the outside of the pool.
Option 2:
Conduit ise used if the cable to the lamp is to be laid underground.
Install as below:
1. Fix the injection pipe into the framework of the pool. Recommended mounting depth,
see drawing on next page. The flange should rest on the pool wall according to A, B and
C (see next page).
2. If grouding i required, connect a cable from the inlet pipe to earth.
3. Mask the flange (its surface should be under the packing).
4. Cast the pool frame as instructed by the supplier.
5. Fix the self-adhesive packing onto the flange.
6. Fit the plug in the rear of the injection pipe. When the o-ring is used, no other gasket is required.
7. Alternative 1: Install the cable gland in the plug. Use the included O ring and ensure that it is in the
right place. No further gasket is needed here.
Alternative 2: Install the conduit in the plug. Seal with thread tape or thread string.
8. Fit the pool liner according to the supplier's instructions and begin filling with water.
9. When water reaches approximately 5 cm below the injection pipe, install the packing and seal with
6 screws.
10. Trim the liner following the seal's inner edge.
11. Pull the LED module cable through the cable gland/conduit and pull it out at the rear end of
injection pipe.
Pull out enough cable (max 1m) to enable lifting the lamp above the water surface later. This will
facilitate future changes of lamp or winter closure.
12. Pull the sealing sleeve onto the cable. The sealing sleeve should be placed in the rubber on the
cable fitting.
Alternative 1: Tighten the cable gland so that the cable is securely attached.
Alternative 2: Connect the conduit to the junction box by the cable gland. Tighten the cable gland so
that the cable is
securely attached.
13. Insert the LED module with cable into injection pipe.
Marine: Clamp the LED module with specer under the front. Tighten it with two screws.
Classic: Clamp the LED module with the front. Tighten it with two screws.
14. Fill the pool with water to the desired level.
