CLEANING THE WELL, BASKET MOUNTS AND ACCESSORIES

To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
Turn off the equipment and allow it to cool.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains
2)
power supply using the automatic switch-dis-
connector.
Drain and fi lter the oil (see page 18).

Remove and clean the baskets and the bas-

ket hanger mount (A).
Act on the lever (B) to move the heating ele-

ments to the drain position.
Make sure that the safety lever (C) has locked
6)
the heating element.
Apply a food-grade detergent to the inside
7)
of the well.
Rinse the well with drinking water and drain.

Apply a specifi c product or a water and vine-

gar solution to the well to remove the deter-
gent residues.
Rinse, empty and dry the well.

After use, clean the accessories with a suit-
11)
able grease-remover product. We recom-
mend washing them in the dishwasher.
IMPORTANT: Move the heating el-
ement back to the work position acting on
the safety lever (C) to unlock it.
ATTENTION: When using water for
routine cleaning, check for traces of water
left in the well, on the accessories and in the
drain line before refi lling with oil.
