The most suitable temperatures during the summer range from
24 to 27°C. It is recommended to set the desired indoor
temperature no less than 6°C below the outdoor temperature.
On particularly hot days the temperature difference can be
increased, but should not exceed 10°C.
Dehumidification mode
This mode is ideal for reducing humidity in the room (spring and
autumn, humid rooms, rainy periods, laundry drying, etc.).

To correctly set this mode, press repeatedly the
until DRY appears on the display.
•
The fan speed cannot be selected. The appliance will
automatically select the best air flow.
•
The display will show the room temperature.
•
Keep doors and windows closed to achieve the best
dehumidifying effect.
For dehumidification purposes, it is not required to use the
exhaust hose to let the hot air out. However, if a cooling effect is
also desired, it is recommended to attach the exhaust hose to
let the hot air out.
This appliance is provided with an auto-evaporation feature for
condensate removal during air conditioning and
dehumidification mode.
Note: in case of high ambient humidity, it is possible to drain
the condensate continuously by applying the hose supplied to
the upper drainage hose ( Chapter 6.3.1 "Continuous
drainage", Page 92).
Fan mode
•
To correctly set this mode, press repeatedly the
until FAN appears on the display. To select the desired air
flow, press repeatedly the

– Minimum air flow: for silent operation.
– Medium air flow: for a good balance between noise and
air flow.
– Maximum air flow: for maximum air flow.

5.2.8 Swing function
This function moves the air outlet flap on the top panel up and
down to evenly distribute the air into the room. The function can
be activated in each mode.
•
Press the
button to enable the swing function. The air
outlet flap will begin to move up and down alternatively.
•
If the
button is pressed again, the flap will be locked into
its current position.
•
If the
button is pressed again, the flap will start to move
up and down again.
Note: in order to avoid damaging the internal mechanism, do
not move the flap manually!
5.2.9 Timer function
The timer allows the delayed start-up or shut-down of the
appliance.
Delayed start-up
While the appliance is in standby, delayed start up can be
programmed.
▶ Press the
button.
HOUR ON and 0.5 will be displayed.
▶ Press or hold the

numbers of hours (0.5 hour increments between 0.5 and
10h and 1 hour increments between 10h and 24h) to start-
up appear on the display.
▶ Press the
button again within 10 seconds to set the
timer.
If the
button is not pressed within 10 seconds, the
timer setting will be exited.
After the timer function is enabled, the display shows back
the time and the previously set settings. After the timer
function is enabled, the settings (Mode, Fan speed, Swing)
can be changed. Sleep mode cannot be selected.Once the
set time is elapsed, the appliance will start-up in the
previously set settings.
