▶ Remove the plug.

▶ Drain the water completely into a drip tray or other
recipient.

▶ When it is completely drained, place the plug and cap on
the outlet, making sure they are completely closed.
▶ Restart the appliance.
Be sure to reinstall the bottom drain caps firmly to prevent
leakage before using the appliance.

Moving and storage

Transporting, loading, cleaning, recovery and disposal of the
refrigerant must only be performed by technical service
centres authorized by the manufacturing company. The
appliance must only be disposed of by specialized personnel.
Moving
• Use two hands to hold the appliance when moving it.
• Hold the handles on both sides of the appliance to keep the
appliance stable during transportation.
• Never transport or turn the appliance upside down or on its
side.

If the latter occurs, wait at least 6 hours (24h is recommended)
before turning the appliance on. After the appliance has been
on its side, oil needs to return to the compressor to ensure
proper function. Without allowing the appliance this time (6-24
hours), the appliance may function for only a short time, and
then the compressor will break down from lack of oil.
Storage (end of season)
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period of time:
▶ Completely drain the water from the internal circuit
( Chapter 6.3.2 "Draining the internal tank", Page 92).
▶ Remove and clean the filters, allow them to dry completely,
then reinstall it ( Chapter 6.2 "Cleaning the filter",
Page 90).
▶ Store the appliance in a cool, dry location, away from direct
sunlight, extreme temperature, excessive dust, and well
ventilated.

Start of the season
After being stored, if you wish to use the appliance for the start
of the season:
▶ Make sure the power cable and socket are in perfect
condition and the earthing system is efficient.
▶ Make sure the filters and drain caps are in place and that the
filters are cleaned.
▶ Install the appliance as described in this manual.
