Operation

5.2.5 Switching ON/OFF

▶ Insert the plug of the appliance in the power socket.
▶ Press
to switch on the appliance.
The appliance starts operating in the same mode and settings
as when it was turned off.
▶ Press
to put the appliance in stand-by.
The display will shut down.
Note:
For optimum performance of the appliance, leave a door/
window slightly open (as little as 1 cm) to guarantee proper
ventilation.
Keep curtains away from the air inlet or air outlet.
Never turn off the air conditioner by simply pulling the
plug.Press the button in order to put your air conditioner in
stand-by and wait a few minutes before pulling the plug. In
this manner, the appliance can perform the operating
status checks.If you turn the air conditioner off and
immediately restart it, allow four minutes for the
compressor to restart cooling. There is an electronic device
in the appliance that keeps the compressor turned off for
four minutes for safety.
Auto restart
If the appliance shuts off unexpectedly due to a power outage,
it will restart with the previously set function automatically
when the power resumes. The compressor will restart after four
minutes.

5.2.6 Smart cool select modes

The appliance has three automated air conditioning modes
(Auto, Silent and Sleep mode).
Auto mode
In Auto mode, the appliance automatically controls and
adjusts the cooling performance in accordance to the
desired (selected) temperature and the environmental
conditions.

Silent mode
In Silent mode, the appliances operates quietly at the
lowest possible noise level, while automatically controls
and adjusts the cooling performance in accordance to the
desired (selected) temperature and the environmental
conditions.

Sleep mode
The Sleep mode will give you an undisturbed and
comfortable sleep. The appliance operates quietly in a
special sleep program and the lights of the control panel
will be switched off 5 seconds after the mode is selected.

After the Sleep mode is activated, the desired (selected)
temperature will increase by 1°C 60 minutes after the mode
is selected, and by another 1°C after an additional 60
minutes. This new temperature will be automatically
maintained for 6 hours before it returns to the originally
selected temperature in Auto mode.

5.2.7 Standard modes

Air conditioning mode
This mode is ideal for hot and humid weather when the room
needs to be cooled down.
In Air conditioning mode, the desired temperature and the
fan speed can be selected.
To correctly set this mode, press repeatedly the
until COOL appears on the display. The display will show
the temperature to be reached. To change the desired
temperature press the

– Minimum air flow: for silent operation.
– Medium air flow: for a good balance between noise and
cooling performance
– Maximum air flow: for maximum cooling performance
and fast cool down.
