Communication wiring
• 2-core with non-polarity wire is used for wiring of the communication wiring.
• Wire size : AWG 14 to 20
• Up to 984 ft (300 m) (L1 + L2 + L3)
NOTE
• Use copper supply wire.
• Use UL wire rated 600 V for the power supply.
• Use UL wire rated 300 V for the remote controller wires and control wires.

CAUTION
The communication wiring and AC 208/230 V wires cannot be parallel to contact each other and cannot be stored
in the same conduits. If doing so, a trouble may be caused on the control system due to noise or other factor.

Wire connection

REQUIREMENT
• Connect the wires matching the terminal numbers. Incorrect connection causes a trouble.
• Pass the wires through the bushing of wire connection holes of the Shut-off Valve Box.
• Keep a margin (Approx. 100 mm) on a wire for servicing.
• The low-voltage circuit is provided for the communication wires. (Do not connect the high-voltage circuit)

Remove the four screws in the center of the maintenance cover, and
then loosen the four screws on each side to remove the maintenance
cover .

Remove the conduit fixing plate (both sides, 4 screws each) .

Attach the conduit pipe to the fixing plate with a lock nut, then reattach
it to the main body .
Be sure to use waterproof electrical conduit (locally procured) .

Connect the power supply wire and communication wires to the
terminal blocks of the electrical control box .

Tighten screws of the terminal block securely, and fix the wires with
cable clamp attached to the electrical control box . (Do not apply
tension to the connecting section of the terminal block .)

Connect the battery kit according to section [4 Installation of Battery
kit] .

Mount the cover of the electrical control box so that it does not pinch
the wires .

Reattach the maintenance cover with the screws .
