INSTALLING AND REMOVING
THE VACUUM ADAPTER
(Fig. 6a & 6b)
The tool is shipped with a vacuum adapter,
which is sized to connect to a 1-1/4" (32 mm)
vacuum hose or adapter (not included).
To install the vacuum adaptor
1. Insert the pin on the vacuum adaptor into the
unthreaded hole on the side of the fixed base
(Fig. 6a).
2. Align the hole on the opposite side of the
vacuum adaptor with the threaded hole on
the side of the fixed base.
3. Screw the screw knob into the aligned holes
and tighten it to secure the vacuum adapter
to the base (Fig. 6b).
To remove the vacuum adapter
1. Fully unscrew the screw knob from the fixed
base (Fig. 6b).
2. Pull the pin of the vacuum adapter from the
hole on the side of the fixed base.
3. Pull the vacuum adapter away from the fixed
base.
