Attaching/Detaching Battery Pack
(Fig. 2)
WARNING

reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
To attach the battery pack:
Align the raised rib on the battery pack with the
grooves in the tool, and then slide the battery
pack onto the tool.
When placing the battery pack
NOTICE
onto the tool, be sure that the
raised rib on the battery pack aligns with the
groove inside the tool and that the latches snap into place properly. Improper attachment of the
battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
To detach the battery pack:
Depress the battery-release button located on the front of the battery pack, to release the
battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and remove it from the tool.
INSTALLING AND REMOVING
THE FIXED BASE (Fig. 3a & 3b)
To remove the fixed base:
1. Press the "O" (off) side of the on/off switch
down. Detach the battery pack.
2. Place the tool upside down.
3. Open the base lock lever on the fixed base
(Fig. 3a).
4. Depress the depth quick-adjustment button
and pull the fixed base from the router motor
(Fig. 3b).
