4.4 TROUBLESHOOTING

Before requesting repair, conduct the following inspection.
If the problem persists, stop the use immediately.
Bring it to your dealer.
Abnormality at Work
Problem
The tool does not operate.
(The control panel displays
an error.)
After the tool stopped
automatically by the torque
control function, it won't
operate promptly even if
you pull the trigger switch.
The tool does not operate.
(The battery indication
lamp blinks.)
You cannot operate the
tool even if you press
the button on the control
panel.
(No display on the control
panel lights up.)
The display on the control
panel is not correct.
You hear a stop sound
when you turn off the
trigger switch.

Retightening prevention is
functioning.
Communication is taking a long
time.
Auto power-off is functioning.
(The battery pack level is
running low.)
There are some foreign bodies
on the contacts between the
battery pack and the tool.

attached, or you have operated
nothing for 5 minutes or more.
No work is done after a battery
pack is attached.
The battery pack has run out.
The battery pack is out of
order.
It is under the influence of
electromagnetic waves near a
high-voltage cable etc.

If the communicating state
lasts longer, reconsider the
communication environment.
Pull out the battery pack.
Check the setting (radio field
intensity) of the controller.

Replace the battery pack with a
new one.
