Setting Up the JS-8
Basic setup for the JS-8
AC Adaptor
Use only the supplied AC adap-
tor. The use of any other adaptor
may cause malfunction.
Place the AC adaptor so the side
with the indicator (see illustration)
faces upwards and the side with
textual information faces down-
wards.
The indicator will light when you
plug the AC adaptor into an AC
outlet.

To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn
down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any connec-
tions.

Howling could be produced depending on the location of microphones relative to
speakers. This can be remedied by:
1. Changing the orientation of the microphone(s).
2. Relocating microphone(s) at a greater distance from speakers.
3. Lowering volume levels.

Microphone
The JS-8 does not feature a phantom power supply, so no
sound will be produced if you connect a condenser mic or
other mic that requires phantom power.
