Using Foot Switches and Expression Pedals

Expression Pedal
(Roland EV-5, etc.)
If you're using an FS-5U footswitch, set its
POLARITY switch as shown below.
Never connect or disconnect the expression pedal or the footswitch while this unit's power is on.
If you connect a separately sold footswitch, you'll be able to perform a variety of operations with your foot.
1. Press [MENU].
2. Select SYSTEM, then press [ENTER].
3. Select PEDAL SETTING, then press [ENTER].
PEDAL SETTING
PLAY/STOP Operate the player (Play/Stop).
REC/STOP Operate the recorder (Rec/Stop).
PATCH +1 Select the next effect patch number (+1).
Select the previous effect patch number
PATCH -1
(-1).
SOLO Switch SOLO on and off.
PH.LOOP REC/PLAY Control REC/PLAY in PHRASE LOOP (DELAY).
Stop PHRASE LOOP (DELAY). The recorded

Switch the speaker's rotation speed (SLOW/

selected.
