13 - MAN PRESENCE WITH SEPARATED BUTTONS FUNCTION
START only opens and PED closes only. While the input START is closed, the motor OPENS the door and when START is disengaged, the
gate stops. While the input PED is closed the motor CLOSES the door, and when PED is disengaged the gate stops. To enable this feature
follow the procedure below :
After the completion of the programming of the door movement (paragraph 7), cut the power supply on the control panel, remove the
bridge on the input STOP and wire the power supply back.
In this way, the control panel with work with the « man presence » function enabled, while keeping the programmed slowing down
spaces on opening\closing.
14 - RESTORE THE INPUTS AS SEQUENTIAL/STANDARD INPUT (OPEN, STOP, CLOSE, OPEN)
Turn off the power, jumper on STOP -COMMON and give back power.
15 - NOTICE
WARNING: if during this procedure there is a power failure, when the power supply is restored and both limit switches are not engaged,
while giving a command Start or Pedestrian the control panel opens the gate without slow motion until it finds the limit switch opening.
Then any other movement will be done in an ordinary way keeping the programmed slowing down spaces. Instead, if one of the limit
switches is engaged, when power is restored the gate moves normally.
IMPORTANT: this control panel is provided with an anti-crashing system that detects the obstacles (working ONLY if onboard the operator
is mounted and ENCODER). If the control panel detects and obstacles while opening, the gate stops and reverses for about 1 second. If
the control panel detects and obstacles while closing the gate stops and re-open completely (till reaching the limit switch of opening) .In
case there is an automatic re-closing setting on the panel, the gate will try to close for max. 3 times and then will remain opened waiting
for a Start impulse.
IMPORTANT: This control panel has got an input for the safety edge. By the dip 2 on SW2 it is possible to select the type of edge. With
the dip set in OFF you select a mechanical safety edge working with a switch; it is a NC input if the edge is not engaged (led COSTA off)
and it is a NO input when the edge is engaged (led COSTA on). With the dip set in ON use a resistive safety edge; if not engaged it has got
a resistance of 8,2K ohm (led COSTA off), if engaged it is got a NC input (led COSTA on). If you don't use this input then wire COM and
COSTA (inputs 12 and 13) and set the dip 2 of SW2 in OFF (led COSTA on)
