Settings, functions and diagnostics

Parameterisation -

The nominal current can be set via a cyclic or
acyclic service.
If an acyclic service is used to set the
nominal current, the value of the current must
be confirmed by pressing the Set/Reset
button. To do this, monitor the current value
via the LEDs.
If the Set/Reset button is not pressed, the
current value stored in the device will not be
changed.
The nominal current can then be changed via
a cyclic service as well.
However, this current must be less than the
nominal current that was set using an acyclic
service.
Pressing the Set/Reset button is not required
for this change to take place.
CAUTION
A motor current above 56 A activates block
monitoring.
Status and diagnostic displays
The device visually indicates its operating status via five LEDs. When the control supply voltage
is connected, all LEDs light up once for an LED test.

Diagnostic function
Various diagnostic functions allow the hybrid motor starter to detect several internal and external
errors (faults in peripheral equipment).
When an error is detected, the device switches to a safe shutdown state.
Internal errors cannot be acknowledged. They are stored in the device. The device cannot be put
back into operation.
In the case of external errors, error acknowledgement is required in order to exit the safe
shutdown state.
