3. Vacuum Seal a FoodSaver
1. Place item(s) in bag, allowing at least 3 inches
(7.62 cm) of space between bag contents and top
of bag.
2. Open appliance lid and place open end of bag into
Vacuum Channel (Drip Tray).
3. Close lid and turn Easy Lock Latch to Operate
position.
4. Press Vacuum & Seal Button to begin vacuum and
sealing process. Motor will continue to run until bag
is fully vacuumed, then will automatically seal.
5. When Seal Indicator Light stops pulsing and turns
back ON solid, turn Latch to Open position, lift
lid and remove bag. Refrigerate, freeze or store as
needed. (See "Guidelines" for food storage safety
tips on page 13.)
NOTE: Let appliance cool down for 20 seconds after
each use. Always store appliance with the Easy Lock
Latch in the center Store position.
Important Tips:
To minimize Waste do not insert too much.
Only insert bag over the edge of the removable
drip tray.

1. Place food into FoodSaver Zipper Bag or Reusable
®
Bag. Lay bag flat with valve facing upwards and
slide fingers across zipper to close the bag. For
Zipper and Reusable Bags, make sure not to put any
food under the valve.
2. Remove the docked Handheld from the appliance
and place the Handheld firmly over the valve on
the bag. Hold handheld upright applying downward
pressure throughout the entire vacuum cycle when
using the reservoir.
3. Press and release the Vacuum Button to start the
vacuum process.
Once the air is removed, the Handheld Vacuum Sealer
will turn off automatically. Dock the Handheld back
into appliance to charge for future use.
Zipper Bags are safe for pantry and fridge use only.
Reusable Bags are safe for the pantry, fridge, and
freezer. They are also Sous Vide safe.
CAUTION: DO NOT SUCK LIQUIDS INTO THE
HANDHELD.
