1. Charge and Dock the Cordless Handheld
1. Charge the handheld by installing fully into the
charging dock.
2. Place the handheld into the to dock with the
FoodSaver logo and Battery light facing up, then
®
press down as shown by arrow to snap the HH into
place.
NOTE- if the HH is not fully seated into the base,
ensure the Foodsaver logo is facing up.
3. The Battery light will PULSE while charging in the
dock, then go ON once fully charged.
4. When the handheld is removed from the dock and
either the Vacuum or Marinate button is pressed,
the Battery light will indicate the charge status.
a. Green = good
b. Yellow = low (should consider charging)
c. Red = very low (may not run full cycle, need to
charge)
d. Pulsing Green = Handheld is charging
5. To remove the HH from the dock, press the tab on
the door to the right and downward.

2. Make a FoodSaver Bag
®
1. Using scissors, cut enough bag material from roll to
hold item, plus 3 inches (7.62 cm). Be sure to cut
straight.
2. Move Easy Lock Latch to the Open position. Open
appliance lid. Insert one end of bag into the green
drip tray.
3. Close lid and turn Easy Lock Latch to Operate
position. Seal light with turn ON (if the Handheld is
docked properly. The Vac + Seal light will also turn
ON)
4. Press Seal button and Seal light will pulse during
the seal cycle.
5. When Seal Indicator Light stops pulsing and turns
back ON solid, sealing is complete. Turn latch to
Open position, lift lid and remove bag.
Now you are ready to vacuum seal with your new bag
(see next page).
