To confirm the selected reception area
Keep the MODE/SET button pressed down for about 6 seconds.
The selected reception area will flash in the display for about 4
seconds.
To tune into a station
Refer to pages 30 to 40.
Note
The selected area remains selected even after the batteries are
removed. However, they may not be retained correctly if the
batteries become low on power or are removed while the unit is
on.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the head and tape path — ©
Clean the playback head @, pinchrollers @, and capstans @
regularly (every 10 hours of use) for optinum sound quality. Use
a cotton swab @ lightly moistened with cleaning fluid or
denatured alcohol.
Cleaning the case
Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution.
Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine or thinner.
