Manual presetting
You can preset preferred stations. Up to 6 stations can be stored
to each preset number (1 — 6) on each band (AM, FM1, FM2).
¢Stations cannot be preset with the remote control. Set the
REMOTE switch to OFF and operate with the main unit.
1 Press the RADIO ON/BAND button repeatedly to select
AM, FM1 or FM2.
2 Press the TUNING UP or TUNING DOWN button to tune in
to a station.
3 Keep the MODE/SET button pressed for about 1 second
until "PRESET" starts flashing in the display.
"PRESET" will flash for about 4 seconds.
4 Press the PRESET AREA + (FF) or —- (REW) button
repeatedly to select the preset number while "PRESET" is
flashing.
5 Press the MODE/SET button while "PRESET" is flashing.
To preset two or more stations, repeat steps 2 — 5.
To listen to preset stations
Refer to page 40.
If flashing stops during operation
Repeat the procedure from step 3.
To change the presetting
Repeat the procedure from step 3.
Note
The preset stations remain selected even after the batteries are
removed. However, they may not be retained correctly if the
batteries become low on power or are removed while the unit is
on.
