Set the DOLBY NR switch to ON when listening to a tape
recorded with the DOLBY B NR system to reduce tape hiss and
noise.

A long beep is heard when you start front-side playback.
Two short beeps are heard when you start reverse-side playback.
A short beep is heard when you start fast forwarding or
rewinding.

The playback side does not change when the 1. RADIO OFF
button is pressed to stop playback. The next time the <I> button
is pressed, playback starts on the same side.
However, playback starts from the front side of the tape after:
the cassette holder is opened.
the rechargeable battery or dry cell batteries are removed.
the AC adaptor is disconnected.
