12. Maintenance
1. Do not use the product on wet roads. Wet and slippery roads will reduce tire
resistance and increases braking distance.
2. Before cleaning, please ensure that the product is turned off and the charging unit
is unplugged. Close the charging slot. During cleaning, be careful not to let water get
in the charging slot. Water entering the charging port may damage the product. Wipe
the surface of the YES with a soft cloth with soapy water or water. Do not use a high-
pressure water gun to clean the product. The YES has an IP rating of IPx4. This means
it protects from splashing water, no matter the direction. Never soak the scooter in
water as this will cause permanent damage.
3. It is crucial that you should not expose bearings to the presence of water for a long
time, as it will lead to rust and corrosion. Make sure to wear gloves when handling
bearings. Perspiration can also lead to rust and corrosion.
4. Make sure to close over the charging port protective cover before and after each
time you charge the product. This keeps water and dust from getting into the
charging port which may damage the product.
5. Only use the charger supplied with the electric scooter. Using a charger other than
the one supplied will void the warranty.
6. If the handelbar develops freedom to rock forward and back, tighten the screws at
the base of the handlebar to remove this freedom. Refer to the image below
7. Self-tightening nuts as well as the other self-tightening fastenings may lose their
efficiency and may need to be retightened securely.
