1 Remove the pressure from the sensor installation location
Unscrew the closing screw or old sensor from the ball valve, T-piece or volume meas-

uring section.
Place the enclosed O-ring on the assembly pin. Only use one O-ring. When replacing

sensors, replace the old O-ring with a new one.
Using the assembly pin, turn the O-Ring into the bore hole of the closing screw with a

rotating movement.
Place the O-ring in its final position using the other end of the assembly pin.

Place the assembly pin over the temperature sensor.

Attach the plastic half nut to the sensor using the assembly pin (optional also brass
7
union piece with a grooved pin).
Remove the assembly pin from the temperature sensor.

Place the temperature sensor with the plastic screw in the bore hole of the closing

screw and tighten it sturdily.

Functional check

Open the shut-off valves in the inlet and outlet.

Check the leak tightness of the union piece connector.

Press the push-button on the meter to switch on the display.

When installing in dip sleeves, the sensors must be pushed in down to the
bottom of the dip sleeve and then fixed.

Final tasks

Apply seals to the union piece connectors and both temperature sensors.

Code Meaning
F-1 Temperature sensor faulty. Exchange the device and return it.
F-3 The outlet sensor registers a higher temperature than the inlet sensor. Check whether the
heat meter / the sensors are in the correct sections.
F-4 Flow sensors faulty. Exchange the device and return it.
F-5 Heat meter measures faultlessly. In order to save electricity, the optical interface is tempo-
rarily out of operation.
F-6 The flow direction of the volume measuring section is incorrect. Check the installation
direction
F-9 Heat meter measures faultlessly. In order to save electricity, no radio telegrams are trans-
mitted temporarily.
C-1 The meter has a permanent fault and must be replaced. The readout values cannot be
used.
