VOLCANIC
Volcanic stone is notorious
for its elegance and
ROCK
resistance; however, it needs
proper care to withstand the
passage of time. All our stone
pieces have been pretreated
with a sealant specifically
formulated for this material.
Due to the porous nature of
volcanic stone, upon contact
with different substances,
its surface may show subtle
color variations. To prevent
stains and abrasions, wipe up
any spills as soon as possible.
To clean the stone, use
a soap specific for stone, or
dishwashing detergent and
lukewarm water.
Always place protective
or insulating materials
on the surface under hot
or cold objects, and cup
holders or tablecloths under
glasses and cups. Avoid acid
based or bathroom cleaners,
abrasive or powdered
detergents, or corrosives
such as ammonia, vinegar,
bleach and alkaline cleaners
not specifically formulated
for stone. To preserve the
original appearance of the
stone, Peca suggests
contacting a professional to
polish and reseal the piece
approximately every 2 to 3
years depending on its
wear. Do not refinish with
a commercial sealant. Utilize
the sealant included with your
piece. Extra sealant available
for sale in our store.
BLACK
Marble requires proper care to
withstand the test of time, and
MARBLE
as it is a natural material, each
slab has its own unique
patterns and colors. All our
marble pieces have been
pretreated and sealed to
protect them from stains from
spills and similar mishaps.
However, to prevent stains and
abrasions, any spills on the
marble surface should be
wiped up immediately.
To properly care for this
piece, use a damp microfiber
cloth and liquid dishwashing
soap with lukewarm water.
Do not use powdered or
abrasive bathroom cleaners
or acid-based cleaners such
as ammonia, vinegar and
bleach, or alkaline cleaners
not designed for stone.
Always use insulating
materials such as cup holders
or placemats on the surface
for protection from hot or cold
objects. Peca suggests
contacting a professional to
polish and reseal the piece
approximately every two years,
depending on its wear and
exposure to the elements.
To test if the piece needs to be
re-sealed, a test can be done
by splashing water on the
surface. If water beads on the
surface, it is necessary to seal
the piece.
CARBON
When coated with
electrostatic paint, carbon
STEEL
steel's durability is increased.
This piece is recommended
for covered outdoor areas.
The following care is
recommended: in case
of rain or water buildup,
always make sure to dry the
piece completely. Excessive
humidity can deteriorate the
paint coat and over time can
lead to the rusting of the steel.
When the fire pit is not
in use, protect it with
a waterproof cover.
For everyday cleaning
use a damp cloth. Never use
abrasive products such as
acetone, alcohol, solvents
or paint thinner.
To avoid rusting,
we recommend calling
a professional to retouch
the paint immediately after
scratches or scrapes
are generated.
STAINLESS
Stainless steel is known as
one of the most resistant
STEEL
materials for outdoor furniture
and is recommended for moist
climates or outdoor use. As it
is painted with electrostatic
paint, its resistance in
exteriors is much higher,
nevertheless, it is important
to take into account that
placing the piece in outdoor
spaces requires specific care.
Excessive humidity can
deteriorate the paint coat
and over time can lead to the
