CAUTION!
Incorrect assignment of measuring results
Manual entries in the electronic patient file are susceptible to error.
► Enter the patient ID using a barcode scanner to automatically
transmit the measuring results to the EMR system.
NOTE
Whether IDs have to be scanned and at what point during the mea-
surement is defined when connecting the device to your EMR System.
If you have any queries in this regard, contact your administrator or
hospital technician.
1. Make sure that the displayed measured values are plausible.
2. Press the key.
3. Scan the patient and/or user ID.
ð The device indicates whether the scanned IDs are correct:
Patient ID OK Patient and user ID OK
