7.2.8. BELT ADJUSTMENT

Remove the cap that covers the belt.
1. Loosen the nuts (3) and (1)
2. Screw in the bolts (4) evenly to remove the tension
plate (2) to move the motor.
3. Belt tension will increase with motor movement.
4 If you need to loosen them, move the engine block
backwards.
5. The belts will have the correct tension when they
can be flexed +/- 9 mm.
5. After adjustment, make sure you have all bolts and
nuts in the correct position and tight.
