• No material or persons must be present on the scaffolding throughout the moving operation.
• Moving the scaffolding close to electrical power lines, or in any case at a distance less than
5.00 m is forbidden.
• Once the moving operation is complete, lock the 4 castor brakes, check the scaffolding is to
level again, and slide the supporting brackets downwards to guarantee a perfect adhesion to
the ground.
8 INSPECTION, CARE, AND MAINTENANCE
• Eliminate the mortar, cement, paint, etc. deposits eventually present on the various
components.
• Always keep the locking and adjustment screws, as well as pins and sleeves on the various
joints well-lubricated.
• Before assembly, verify that the components are in perfect condition, promptly replacing
worn or damaged components with others of the same type, though always original as specified
by the manufacturer.
• Throughout moving, transportation, and stocking operations, do not subject any of the
components of the mobile scaffolding to loads that may cause permanent deformations,
therefore avoid disorderly stacking and stacking different types of materials.
• Lifting of tools and material to the working platform must be performed within the scaffolding,
one level at a time, through the trapdoors, using manually operated ropes of a suitable diameter.
Should this not be possible, lifting of loads no greater than 30 kg may occur from the outside
of the scaffolding – using manually operated ropes of a suitable diameter – following a vertical
direction parallel to the scaffolding and at a distance remaining within the area covered by the
supporting brackets.
• Resting and using automatic lifting devices is forbidden.
• Bridge connections between the mobile scaffolding and buildings is forbidden.
• The mobile scaffolding is not designed to be lifted and suspended (e.g. by means of a crane
or other similar device).
• When not in use, store in a cool, dry place.
