Comfort Sleeve: A washable sleeve that may be worn over the Comfort Band to protect it from dirt, sweat and
odor.
•
Place the Comfort Sleeve over the Comfort Band after your first fitting of your Reflux Band.
•
Remove Comfort Sleeve from packaging.
•
Slide either end of the Comfort Sleeve over the Clasp and continue to pull the Comfort Sleeve over the
Comfort Band until it evenly covers the Comfort Band.
•
The seam of the Comfort Sleeve should be at the bottom of the Comfort Band.

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning Your Reflux Band
•
Your Reflux Band may be hand washed as needed. The Comfort Band and Cushion may be removed and
washed using a mild detergent and water solution.
•
The Frame and Clasp may be wiped clean with rubbing alcohol and a soft lint-free cloth.
•
Make sure all components are completely dry before storing or wearing the device.
•
DO NOT submerge the Reflux Band in liquid.
•
DO NOT machine wash, tumble dry, blow dry, or dry clean your Reflux Band.
•
DO NOT use bleach, fabric softener, or any harsh or abrasive chemicals on any of the Reflux Band parts.
•
DO NOT store in extremely hot, cold, humid, wet or bright conditions.
•
Somna Therapeutics makes no warranty for any misuse or malfunctions as a result of abuse, accidents,
alteration, neglect, or failure to maintain the product as instructed.
Changing the Cushion
•
To change the Cushion, simply pull it away from the Velcro on the Frame.
•
Place a new Cushion in the same spot.
•

Maintaining Fitting Kit (External Manometer and Pressure Sensor)
•
The External Manometer is not designed to be submerged into any liquid. Only use wipe cleaners and/or
disinfectants.
•
The External Manometer should be cleaned with a damp cloth using warm water or pre-saturated isopropyl
alcohol wipes.
•
The Pressure Sensor should be cleaned with a damp cloth using warm water or pre-saturated isopropyl
alcohol wipes.
Cleaning Your Optional Comfort Sleeve
•
Remove Comfort Sleeve.
•
Machine or hand wash Comfort Sleeve in cold water as needed.
•
Tumble dry low or air dry.
•
Once dry, reapply Comfort Sleeve to Reflux Band.
•
Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
Reflux Band and Fitting Kit Storage
When your Reflux Band and Fitting Kit are not being used, store it in a dry location away from sunlight. To help
extend the life of these components, return to their original packaging when not in use.
