To select a stitch, simply turn the pattern selector dial (a). The
pattern selector dial may be turned in either direction. The
following page shows the recommended range of stitch lengths.
Adjust the stitch length with the stitch length dial (b) according
to the fabric being used. (Model 1409 only)
