Rimage Professional
5300N Setup and Installation Guide
Before you begin:
This document is intended for people who are familiar with hardware setup, software
installation, and Windows operating systems.
If you do not understand the procedures in this document, ask your computer technician
for help.
The Rimage 5100N and 5300N are part of the Rimage Professional series of
autoloaders. Through this document, the term 'Professional' is used to refer to both the
Rimage 5100N and the Rimage 5300N.
Note: Your system may not look exactly like the system pictured.
For information about how to connect the system to a network, refer to the Advanced
Setup Guide (110721) provided with your autoloader.

Prepare the Professional.
Important! Keep all packaging materials.
a. Remove the tape from the front door.
b. Remove the Software Agreement label from the front door.
c. Inside the Professional, remove the
protective foam strip.
d. Inside the Professional, remove the foam (5300N only).
e. Remove the tape from input bin (5100N only).
f. Remove the tape from the collator.

g. Remove the tape holding the printer
cords on the back of the autoloader.
Important! Read the label before
you remove it.

Prepare the Everest printer.
a. Press the side cover latches.
b. Lower the side cover.

c. Open latches 1, 2, and 3 as
indicated by the arrows.

d. Remove the plastic packing pieces
(2) from inside the printer.

Set up your printer.
Place the printer on the Professional so that the feet slide into the slots on the
printer plate.
Caution: Lift the Everest
printer with care; it is
very heavy.
