Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Information
This device is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure
to radio waves recommended by international guidelines. These guidelines were developed by the
independent scientific organization ICNIRP and include safety margins designed to assure the
protection of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The guidelines use a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The
SAR limit for this devices is 2.0W/kg when tested at the worn on the body, 4.0W/kg when worn
on the limbs. And please see the "Quick Guide" to find the highest SAR value.
During testing, device radios are set to their highest transmission levels and placed in positions
that simulate use near the body without distance. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar
accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. T he use of accessories that
do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements, and should be
avoided.

Use Restriction
Restrictions in Norway: Use of this radio equipment is not allowed in the geographical area within
a radius of 20 km from the center of Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard. The 5250 to 5350 MHz, 5945 to 6425
MHz(LPI) frequency range is restricted to indoor use only and the 5945 to 6425MHz frequency
range is not permitted to use on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). These restrictions apply in:
AT, BE, BG, CH, CY, CZ, DE, DK, EE, EL, ES, FI, FR, HR, HU, IE, IS, IT, LI, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, NO, PL,
