Filter CartridgeReplacement

r-_ Turn offwater to filter For model GXWH04E water _ Reinstall the filter canister to the unit. Tighten filter
must be shut off fl'om an upstream valve. For model '_' canister to seal. Use canister wrench if necessar}_
GXWH20E rotate control handle to the BX,_ASSor
OFF position. (See Control Handle.)
r2-] press the red pressure release button to release
pressure.
r_] Unscrew the filter canister and discard used filter
h:ash the filter canister with mild soap and water D0
notuse harsh cleaners or hot water
[-_ Inspect the filter canister O-ring. Make sure it is
lightlylubricated with clean food grade silicone
grease (silicone grease is available through GE Parts
and Service: 1.800.626.2002, part number
h_60S10005). Be sure the O-ring is seated in the
groove. It is recommended that you replace the
O-ring if it is damaged.
[_] Place a new filter cai't_idge into the canister; making
sure it is centered and completely seated on the
bottom seal.

SloMv rotate control handle to the FILTER position

shut-off valve (model GXWH04F).
Press the red pressure release button to remove
trapped air
Open any downstream faucet and allow filter system
to flush for 5 minutes.
