7 Operation
7.1

Making a call

• Pick up the handset
• Dial the number
7.2 Receiving a call
• When a call comes in, the phone will ring and
the ringer LED will flash
• Pick up the handset
7.3

Mute the microphone

During a call you can deactivate the microphone
and talk freely without the caller hearing you.
• Press to activate
• Press again to continue your
conversation
7.4

Music on hold

During a call you can put the other party on hold.
The other party will hear an electronic melody.
• Press the -key and hang-up the handset
(the other party is on hold now)
• Pick up the handset to continue your
conversation

Last number redial

• Press the -key to redial the last dialled
number

Memory numbers

The Deskmaster TE-6600 has totally 10 direct
memory keys (M1, M2 + eight direct memory
keys)
8.1 Storing a number
• Pick up the handset
• Press
• Dial the number to be stored
• Choose a key M1, M2 or one of the eight
direct memory keys
8.2 Using a direct memory number
• Pick up the handset
