Rear Installation Procedure
Note: Do not use power tools to install splash guard fasteners
1. Clean and degrease body panel where splash guards are to
be located.
2. Use 7 mm socket to remove screw in location (A). Retain
fastener. See Fig. 1.
3. Use plastic trim removal tool to dislodge clips from rear fascia
and remove existing stone protector. Take care not to damage
paint. See Fig. 2.
4. Align and then insert the splash guard tab to the wheel liner
slit. See Fig. 3.
5. Align splash guard clips with clip insertion holes and snap
splash guard in place. See Fig. 3.
6. Reinstall fastener in location (A). See Fig. 4.
7. Repeat procedure for the other side.
8. Guards can be cleaned with any commercially available
cleaner.
NOTE: Max torque on M4.2 Screw is 3.0 N m
