installation
1. Loosen two (2) screws (B) and remove center locating screw (C).
Pull gear case assembly from drive shaft housing.
2. Slide the new gear case assembly onto the drive shaft housing until
the hole in the neck of the gear case is aligned with the hole in the
drive shaft housing.
3. Insert locator screw (C) into hole and tighten to snug.
4. Tighten bolts (B), clamping the cutting attachment onto the drive
shaft housing.
IMPORTANT
Flat edge of washers (D) must be against drive shaft.
to advance trimmer line
NOTE
To advance trimmer line, tap trimmer head against the ground while the head is turning at normal operating speed.
nylon line rePlacement
1. Do not push spool in. Hold drum (A) and turn spool (B) clockwise
until peg clicks and disappears from hole. Pull spool out of drum.
2. Use one piece of new nylon line (C) 6 m (20 ft.) long and thread
through the molded loop (D) on the spool. Pull line tight and adjust
so one end is 15 cm (6 in.) longer than the other.

Afloje los dos (2) tornillos (B) y quite el tornillo guía central (C). Tire el conjunto de caja de engranajes sacándolo de la caja del eje de impulsión 2. - Página 4 3. Sostenga el carrete con la abertura hacia usted. Ponga el dedo índice entre los dos filamentos y enrolle la línea, en forma apretada y regular, en dirección de la flecha. 4. Ponga los extremos de los hilo (C) en las muescas del carrete (F), dejando que sobresalgan 6 pulg. 5. Pase los extremos del hilo hacia afuera por los ojales (G) del tambor.
