DEVICE PERIODIC CHECK SHEET
1) HISTORY AND GENERAL CHECK
1.1
Check the existence and the readability of the marking details, in particular the CE symbol and the applicable EN norm/standard.
1.2
Check that device has not exceeded the storage and/or in-use lifetime, as stated in the specific instructions for use.
1.3
Check that the device is intact and no parts are missing (check against a new product).
1.4
Check that the device has not been modified outside the factory or serviced in a non-approved centre (check against a new
product).
1.5
Check that the device has not experienced an exceptional event (e.g. fall from height, violent blow, etc.). Even in the absence of
visible defects or deterioration, the original strength could be seriously reduced.
2) VISUAL CHECK
2.1
CHECKING THE DEVICE
• SIDE - Make sure there are no cuts, cracks or sharp edges. Make sure there is no wear, paying most attention to where the
rope can rub. Make sure there is no corrosion or oxidation.
• LOCKING CAM AND OTHER METALLIC PARTS - Make sure there are no deformations, cracks or sharp edges. Make sure
there are no incisions deeper than1 mm. Make sure that areas of wear are no deeper than 1 mm, paying particular attention
to where the rope or connectors are in contact with the device (e.g. locking cam).
Moving and fixed side plates, sheave position lever, locking cam and other metallic parts.

    REVISIÓN PERIÓDICA DE LOS EQUIPOS DE PROTECCIÓN INDIVIDUAL ROLLNLOCK 3) REVISIÓN FUNCIONAL REVISIÓN DE LAS PARTES MÓVILES • MOVIMIENTO DE LA PLACA LATERAL MÓVIL - Comprobar la rotación completa de la placa sin agarrotamientos. Comprobar el retorno de la placa lateral sin agarrotamientos y el correcto enganche con el casquillo de contraste. Si necesario, lubricar las partes móviles con aceite de silicona en spray, respetando las indicaciones en las instrucciones de uso del equipo.
