Slowly introduce the file into the canal. Movement of the file inside the canal is reflected on the screen by
green arrows Down and Up (Figs. 5 and 6).

Along the pre-apical zone, a zoomed view of file progression in the canal is shown on the enlarged root
image in the right side of the display, and the numerical value appears on the left side of the display un-
der the tooth image.
The CanalPro Apex Locator Compact provides audio feedback of file progression as a series of beeps with
variable rate.
