Drill a 3/32" hole and attach the T-Connectors White wire with
the ring terminal to the vehicle using the #10 screw provided.
Caution: Do not drill into any exposed surfaces or
through the vehicle body.
6. Route 4-flat trailer connector through the opening between
the bumper and body while avoiding any areas that could cut,
pinch or burn the wires. Use provided cable ties to attach
the 4-flat connector near the trailer hitch
7. Disconnect the vehicle's Negative(-) battery cable.
8. Route the 12 gauge black wire from the battery compartment
under the vehicle along the frame to the Black Converter Box.
Secure the wire to the vehicle using the cable ties provided.
Caution: When routing wire through metal or other sharp
surfaces,always utilize an existing grommet, provide a
grommet or insulate the wire from the hole with silicone
rubber.
9. Strip 5/16" of the insulation from the end the inline fuse
holder(included) and attach the 3/8"
ring terminal using a crimping tool.
10. On the other end of the
fuseholder, strip 5/16" of the
insulation and crimp the yellow butt
connector provided and attach it to
the 12 gauge black wire.
11. With the fuse removed, attach the 3/8" ring
terminal to the vehicles positive(+) battery terminal. Attach the
opposite fuse holder wire to the 12 gauge black wire using the 12
ga. butt connector provided (Fig 2).
Warning: Do not attempt to connect the black power wire
to the vehicle fuse panel or any other accessory wiring.
