ASSEMBLY IMPORTANT: This unit is shipped without gasoline or oil in the engine. Be certain to service engine with gasoline and oil as instructed in the Operation section before starting or running your machine. ASSEMBLY side Discharge Chute Your mower is shipped as a mulcher. To convert to side discharge, make sure grass catcher is off of the unit and rear discharge door is closed. OPERATION Gas anD Oil Fill-Up Oil Fill Cap/ (one bottle shipped with unit) First Time Use Dipstick Remove oil fill dipstick. With the mower on level ground, fill the engine to the upper limit mark on the dipstick with the recommended oil. See Figure 10. Replace oil fill dipstick and tighten. -

Be sure oil level is maintained. Check the oil with the engine stopped and level. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and wipe it clean. Insert the oil filler cap/dipstick into the oil filler neck as far as it will go, but do not screw it in, then remove it to check the oil level.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE CleaninG DeCk Clean underside of the mower deck once a season to prevent build-up of grass clippings or other debris. Follow steps below for this job. Disconnect spark plug wire. Drain gasoline from lawn mower or place a piece of plastic under the gas cap. Tip mower so that it rests on the housing, keeping the muffler side down. - Página 20 SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE Place blade bell support on the blade. Align notches on the blade bell support with small holes in blade. Replace hex bolt and tighten hex bolt to torque: 450 in. lbs. min., 600 in. lbs. max.
