Connecting to an electric fence

1. P ush three 2 m earth rods fully into firm soil. Form an earth system by connecting the earth
rods together using insulated underground fence cable and earth clamps.
2. C onnect the green earth lead to the earth terminal ( ) of the energiser and then to the
earthing system. Ensure there is good contact.
3. C onnect the red fence lead to the fence terminal ( ) of the energiser and then to the fence.
Ensure there is a good connection.
Both leads can be found inside the energiser battery cradle.

Set the pulse speed and energy output using the Selector switch.
