Product Overview
2N LiftIP 2.0 is an alarm lift communicator providing full-duplex audio transmission via the
VoIP technology directly from the lift cabin. A microphone and a speaker are built-in behind
the lift panel for bidirectional communication. 2N LiftIP 2.0 is designed for places where a
LAN is available. 2N LiftIP 2.0 allows you to make calls to pre-programmed numbers only.
Thanks to IP connectivity, 2N LiftIP 2.0 can be constantly monitored, remotely configured
and state detected. The advantage is the connection option for an almost unlimited count of
communication units.

Mechanical Installation
2N LiftIP 2.0 is designed for indoor use and has to be secured against mechanical damage,
water and dust damage and other adverse effects. The communicator mounting surface must
be perfectly flat.
Make sure that the lift panel is ready for installation, including speaker perforation. The
panel has to be equipped with the required elements for the ALARM button and illuminated
Connection established and Request accepted pictograms. Make sure that the location of the
elements meets the standard requirements.
Leave the minimum free space behind the panel of (W) 65 x (H) 130 x (D) 25 mm for the basic
design. To mount the product, you need the (W) 57 x (H) 122 mm M4 screws from the inside
and a sufficiently perforated speaker area, which can be larger but may never exceed the panel
size to avoid the acoustic fault. Microphone hole, two holes for 2 LEDs if necessary.
Make sure that microphone hole is sealed properly to record only sounds from the cabin
instead of the noise from the shaft or space behind the panel.
Electrical Installation
2N LiftIP 2.0 is connected to the LAN via a Cat-5e or higher UTP cable terminated with RJ-45
(LAN connector). 2N LiftIP 2.0 can be fed via PoE or from an external power supply (10–30
V DC, 0.5 A). Once connected to the LAN, 2N LiftIP 2.0 gets the IP address from the DHCP
server.
The lift user never gets into direct contact with this product. The control and indication
elements depend on the installation. The indictor function meets the standard requirements.
