7. BEFORE EACH USE

• Always check the state of wear and tear of the parts to ensure safe use of the device.
• Make sure that the pointer of the balance is correctly positioned on 0.
• Make sure that the balance is placed on a flat, rigid and stable surface.

7.1 Calibration

Before use, the balance must be calibrated by turning the adjusting wheel on the opposite side of
the dial until the pointer is precisely positioned on 0.

8. HOE TO USE

NOTE: Refer to the general and operating instructions in this instruction manual.
• Ensure that the scale is placed on a flat, rigid and stable surface.
• Step on the platform with one foot at a time. If you place the scale too abruptly, the correct
functioning of the measuring mechanism may be impaired.
• Try not to put your weight off balance and remain as still as possible.

9. MAINTENANCE

The products of the KYARA by Moretti line are carefully checked when they are put on the market
and bear the CE mark.
In case of repair, only original spare parts and accessories must be used.
• It is extremely important that the device is checked the first time it is used.
• Be careful when moving the device, even small impacts can impair the measuring mechanism.

10. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

10.1 Cleaning

Use only a damp, non-abrasive cloth and neutral detergents to clean the balance.
