1. Spout Installation

Slide the escutcheon on the spout shank so the gasket on the
escutcheon faces down.
Insert the spout and escutcheon through the lavatory hole.
From under the lavatory, position the hold-down plate on the
spout shank so the flat edges of the plate contact the lavatory
surface.
Hold the spout in position and secure with the nut.
Wrench tighten the nut.
