Replacing a reflector

Contact an authorised MAQUET service centre to have this
part replaced.

a) Remove the segments from between the reflectors.
Remove as many segments as necessary until there is
sufficient space to remove and replace the reflector.

b) Remove the outer seal (larger diameter) from around the
reflector to be replaced.

c) If the reflector to be replaced is adjacent to the camera
fastener, remove the fastener's two M2x4 screws.

d) Push the reflector away from the cupola. Using a flat,
blunt, rigid tool, disengage it from its slot under the inner
seal.

Take care not to damage the inner seal while remov-
ing it.

e) Lightly coat the inner seal with liquid soap to make
installing the new reflector easier.
f) Clear the empty space and position the new reflector
against the outer stop. Slip it underneath the inner seal
little by little with a flat, blunt, rigid tool.

g) Put the two M2x4 screws back in the camera fastener (if
removed).

h) Push the reflectors toward the inside of the cupola and put
the outer seal back into place by hand.
i) Apply a bead of silicone glue between the reflectors and
insert the segments.

5.2 Sustitución de un reflector
Para este tipo de intervención, póngase en contacto con el ser-
vicio postventa autorizado por MAQUET.

a) Retirar los segmentos entre los reflectores. Retire tantos
segmentos como sea necesario para crear espacio y hacer
posible la retirada del reflector que debe sustituirse.

b) Despejar la junta exterior (mayor diámetro) alrededor de
la zona del reflector que debe sustituirse.

c) Si el reflector que debe sustituirse es adyacente a la
fijación de la cámara, quitar los 2 tornillos M2x4 de la
fijación.

d) Colocar el reflector hacia el exterior de la cúpula. Sacarlo
de su alojamiento bajo la junta interior con una herramienta
plana, rígida y no cortante.

Tenga cuidado de no deteriorar la junta interior du-
rante la operación.

e) Colocar una película de jabón líquido bajo la junta interior
para facilitar la colocación del nuevo reflector.
f) Despejar el espacio libre y colocar el nuevo reflector
en tope exterior. Insertarlo a continuación bajo la junta
interior paso a paso con una herramienta plana, rígida y
no cortante.
Tenga cuidado de no deteriorar la junta interior du-
rante la operación.
g) Volver a colocar los 2 tornillos M2x4 de la fijación de la
cámara si resulta necesario.

h) Colocar los reflectores hacia el interior de la cúpula, a
continuación volver a colocar la junta exterior de manera
manual.
i) Colocar un poco de cola silicona entre los reflectores e
insertar los segmentos.
