This cordless earth auger is intended for noncommercial use only.
The auger is designed to dig holes in the ground.

WARNING!
When using the power tool, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock, and personal injury. These include:
• Stay alert – Watch what you are doing. Use common
sense. Do not operate the tool when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol, or other medication.
• Know your product – Know how to start and stop the
tool. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls and ensure
they are functioning properly.
• Use the right tool – Do not use this tool for any job
except for what it's intended for.
• Prevent unintentional starting – Ensure the switch is in
the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking
up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with
your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have
the switch on invites accidents.

• Do not force the tool – It will perform better with less
likelihood of personal or mechanical injury if it is used at
the rate for which it was designed.
• Moving parts – Keep hands and feet away from moving
parts. Keep a firm grip on both handles at all times during
operation to avoid loss of control.
• Personal protective equipment – Always use eye
protection, hearing protection and protective covering to
contain long hair.
• Dress properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry, as
such articles can become caught in moving parts.
• Avoid slipping – Maintain proper footing and balance
at all times to avoid slipping or falling. Wear non-slip
footwear to improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
• Avoid water - Do not expose the tool to rain, damp or wet
conditions. Do not immerse in water. Water entering the
unit will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Noise and vibrations – If the tool should start to vibrate
abnormally, stop the tool and inspect it thoroughly for
damage.
Work Area Safety
• Work area – Always inspect the area where the tool is to
be used and operate it in a well-lit environment. Do not
start using the product until you have a clear work area
and secure footing.
• Avoid dangerous environments – Do not operate the
tool in gaseous or explosive environments or use it near
flammable or combustible materials. Remove all objects
such as cords, lights, wire, or loose string which can
become entangled in the cutting blade and create a risk of
serious personal injury.
• Utility lines – Never operate tool in the vicinity of
underground electric, gas, water or telephone lines.
• Keep children, bystanders, and pets away –
All bystanders, including pets, should be kept a safe
distance away from the work area.

Do not use detergents, acids, alkaline
solutions, bleaches or solvents such as acetone to clean your
tool. These substances may damage the plastic housing of the
machine.

volts; nominal voltage under typical load is 21.6 volts.
