5.5. Adhoc message recording

Adhoc
messages are specific messages, recorded for a specific purpose and usually not generalizable. They are recorded
from the DC-700ETH/T desk and their usefulness is usually temporary.
Once recorded, you can use the Adhoc message as any other pre-recorded message of the DC-700ETH/T (see section
Send a prerecorded message
The priority of the DC-700ETH/T Adhoc messages with respect to the rest of the messages and sound sources of the system,
is predetermined by the priority of the sound source assigned to the DC-700ETH/T when configuring it through the Call
Point or CallPoint Configurator software. If necessary, it can be modified through the same software.
When recording an Adhoc message, if the DC-700ETH/T belongs to a Global Area, the message will be stored in the ADHOC
COMMON folder. If the DC-700ETH/T belongs to a Local Area, the message will be stored in the ADHOC AREA folder.
Recording procedure:
1. Long press and hold on any point in an area free of elements
and a circular selection menu will appear.
2. Select Adhoc.
3. Press
to start recording.
4. Press
to end the recording.
5. If you wish, you can use the PLAY- PAUSE- STOP controls to monitor the message you have just recorded. If the
recording volume is not adequate, you can modify it by following the section
6. Enter a name for the message, and select an empty slot
overwrite the file. There are 20 slots available for saving Adhoc messages.
