1.0 I MPORTANT RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
Visually inspect all components for shipping damage.
Shipping damage is not covered by warranty. If
shipping damage is found, notify carrier at once. The
carrier is responsible for all repair and replacement
costs resulting from damage in shipment.
2.0 GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read all instructions, warnings and
cautions carefully. Follow all safety
precautions to avoid personal injury or
property damage during system operation. Enerpac
cannot be responsible for damage or injury resulting
from unsafe product use, lack of maintenance or
incorrect product and/or system operation. Contact
Enerpac when in doubt as to the safety precautions
and operations. If you have never been trained on
high-pressure
hydraulic
distribution or service center for a free Enerpac
Hydraulic safety course.
Read and save these instructions for future use!
Failure to observe and comply with the following
precautionary statements could cause equipment
damage and personal injury:
A CAUTION is used to indicate correct operating or
maintenance procedures and practices to prevent
damage to, or destruction of equipment or other
property.
A WARNING indicates a potential danger that requires
correct procedures or practices to avoid personal
injury.
A DANGER is only used when your action or lack of
action may cause serious injury or even death.
3.0 BATTERY AND CHARGER SAFETY
Before using battery and charger, read and understand
all instructions contained in this document and on the
product labels.
WARNING: Failure to follow the safety
precautions and instructions included in this
section may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
personal injury.

28VDC Li-Ion Battery and Charger
Note: New battery packs
must be charged
before use.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY, CHARGE
MILWAUKEE LITHIUM-ION PACKS ONLY IN
MILWAUKEE LITHIUM-ION CHARGERS. Other
types of chargers may cause personal injury or
damage. Do not wire a battery pack to a power supply
plug or car cigarette lighter. Battery packs will be
permanently disabled or damaged.
USE MILWAUKEE V28 LITHIUM-ION PACKS ONLY
WITH YOUR ENERPAC 28V cordless pump. Use
with other products (except for 28V Milwaukee
cordless tools) may result in a risk of fire, electric
shock or personal injury.
AVOID DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTS. Do not
charge battery pack in rain, snow, damp or wet
locations. Do not use battery pack or charger in the
presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes,
dust or flammable materials) because sparks may be
generated when inserting or removing battery pack,
possibly causing fire.
CHARGE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. Do not
block charger vents. Keep them clear to allow proper
ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open flames near
a charging battery pack. Vented gases may explode.
MAINTAIN CHARGER CORD. When unplugging
charger, pull plug rather than cord to reduce the risk
of damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry
charger by its cord. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp
edges. Make sure cord will not be stepped on, tripped
over or subjected to damage or stress. Do not use
charger with damaged cord or plug. Have a damaged
cord replaced immediately with identical replacement
parts.
