Intended Use
The WeeSpecs Supreme Phototherapy mask is for use under phototherapy lights or anytime a
baby's eyes need protection. The phototherapy mask is for single-patient use only.
Warnings
•
Bag is not a toy.
•
Readjust the WeeSpecs Supreme as needed to keep eyes completely covered.
•
DO NOT overtighten.
Material
This product does not contain natural rubber latex.
•
Headstrap: Nylon/elastane fabric/breathable urethane foam laminate.
•
Goggles: Nylon fabric/Urethane foam.
NOTE: Use in compliance with standard hospital practices.
Using the Phototherapy Mask
1. Inspect the mask, and replace if it is torn or damaged.
2. Slip the back panel of the mask beneath the baby's head, as shown in
Figure 1.
3. Place the foam goggles over the baby's eyes. See Figure 2.
4. Grasp the hook tab and pull the strap through the slot until the mask is
adjusted to the proper size, as shown in Figure 3. Do not overtighten.
5. Press the hook tab against the fabric strap. See Figure 4.
6. Adjust the mask as necessary by lifting the hook tab and tightening or
loosening.
NOTE: If the fabric covers the baby's ears, make sure his/her ears are lying
flat, not folded.
NOTE: Check the baby periodically to ensure his/her eyes remain covered.
