Installing the Mulch Plug Lock
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Lock
Procedure
Remove and discard the spring tab on the mulch plug,
and install the lock as shown in Figure 1.

Using the Mulch Plug Lock
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Rotate the lock counterclockwise on the mulch plug
to the unlocked position (Figure 2).

2. Lift the rear door.
3. Insert the mulch plug into the opening at the rear of
the mower housing until it snaps into place.
4. Rotate the lever lock clockwise into the locked
position (Figure 3).
