Getting started
Cleaning your Cobb Gas
• Always clean your Cobb Gas after each use.
• Ensure the Cobb Gas is completely cool before cleaning.
• Remove the Gas Canister.
• Carefully remove the Dome Cover and the accessory in use.
• The Inner Sleeve and Moat will now be exposed.
• Carefully remove the Inner Sleeve as it may contain fat/juices etc. inside.
• The Accessories, Inner Sleeve and Dome Cover are all dishwasher safe (with the exception of the Pizza Stone)
• You can use suitable brushes for stainless steel products to clean the Inner Sleeve and Dome Cover.
• Soak the accessories in hot soapy water immediately after cooking and do not use abrasives when cleaning. Make sure
the accessories have cooled first, before washing.
• Use dishwashing liquid or cleaning materials suitable for stainless steel or aluminium products when cleaning the Grill Grid,
Inner Sleeve and Dome Cover.
• The Base and all other parts not mentioned above, should be cleaned by using a lukewarm soapy solution and
cleaning cloth/sponge to wipe clean.
Storing your Cobb Gas
• The canister must be removed from the Cobb Gas when not in use.
• Gas cylinders should be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of the reach of children. Any indoor storage shall
comply with AS/NZS 1596.
• If you store your Cobb Gas for a lengthy period of time, apply a light coat of vegetable oil to all surfaces with the exception
of the jet, Top Ring and black casing.
• After a period of storage, the Cobb Gas should be checked for gas leaks and any obstructions in the burner tubes before
using.
• When taking your Cobb Gas out of storage, please remove oil applied to the various surfaces before use.
