Moria informs the availability of the One Use-Plus (OUP) handpiece for artificial chamber (#19175) used with One
Use Large-Cut heads (OU LC) (#19184/xxx) for single use or reusable artificial chamber.
1- Indications
OU LC heads for artificial chamber (#19184/xxx) guided for:
• RU (reusable) artificial chamber by the OUP guide ring for ALTK (#19173) mounted on ALTK artificial chamber
(#19161) equipped with its universal cover (#19162)
• SU (single-use) artificial chamber by the OUP LC single-use guide ring (#19187) mounted on single-use
artificial chamber (#19182)
enable to create, with an automated motion, a complete lamellar resection (without hinge) for donor graft
preparation during keratoplasty surgery.

3- Instructions for use
1/ Prepare Evolution 3E control unit (see instruction for use #65090 included in box of OU LC heads, and user
manual Evolution 3E #65060/INTL):
• perform vacuum test on Evolution 3E control unit
• select OUP mode and speed 2
• connect OUP handpiece to Evolution 3E control unit (Fig. 1)
2/ See instruction for use #65090 for preparation of artificial chamber, setting of the graft and preparation
of the head.
3/ OUP handpiece setting:
• screw the head onto the handpiece (Fig. 2)
• inspect the blade under microscope and start the motor to check proper blade oscillation
• set OUP handpiece on OUP guide ring #19173 or #19187 depending on artificial chamber used (Fig. 3)
4/ See instruction for use #65090 for cutting of the graft and end of procedure.
4- Maintenance

or #65040 (§9.3).
